The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and executing the sales strategy to drive profitable revenue growth across new and existing business. This role blends hands-on selling with sales leadership, accountability, and process management. The Sales Manager will build and coach a high-performing sales team to develop and close new business, expand share within existing accounts, and ensure consistent execution of sales processes, pricing discipline, and CRM utilization. This individual will work closely with executive leadership and operations to align sales activity with company goals, margin targets, and customer experience standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team with clear goals, pipeline oversight, performance accountability, and professional development.
- Develop and execute a structured sales strategy focused on new business acquisition and account expansion.
- Personally manage key strategic and enterprise accounts while supporting complex or high-value opportunities.
- Drive cross-selling and consolidation across the full suite of solutions.
- Enforce disciplined pricing, margin standards, and approval processes.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and represent us in the marketplace.
- Collaborate with operations, vendors, and leadership to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction. Input and maintain accurate client, prospect, and pipeline data in the CRM.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent professional experience.
- Five or more years of B2B sales experience with sales leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Experience selling B2B products or services such as print, promotional products, apparel, office or facility supplies, furniture, or similar solutions.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Metrics-driven, organized, and process-oriented.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in HubSpot and NetSuite is a plus.
$80,000 – $90,000 a year
