The role:
- Play a leading role in organizing iNovia’s related events including our Annual General. Meeting (AGM), CEO, CMO and CTO Summits, and AccelerateMTL.
- Help manage iNovia’s website and event microsites.
- Manage iNovia’s various social media profiles.
- Prepare and issue all new investment press releases and major announcements.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of iNovia’s media contacts and relationships.
- Support portfolio companies with PR best practices as needed.
- Be an active iNovia representative in the tech community.
- Write or review blog posts written by iNovia, its Venture Partners and portfolio companies.
- Manage iNovia’s quarterly CEO newsletter.
- Lead the annual CEO survey to gather feedback from the iNovia portfolio.
Requirements:
- A “go-getter” with an amazingly positive attitude.
- Work experience of ideally a minimum of 2 years in marketing and communications.
- Graphic design skills in photoshop and illustrator (an asset).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self motivated, autonomous and extremely well organized with excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Google Docs, Mailchimp, SurveyMonkey (an asset).
- Available for occasional travel or evening events.
- Strong familiarity with social media networks and tools.
- Desire to learn and grow in an entrepreneurial environment.
- A passion for technology and the early stage tech scene.
