This is our last post of this year's series "why to invest in software" and this reason is a good one, we promise: No more grace time - exact to the minute billing of parking processes! ⏲️ For every traditional parking transaction, operators lose 10-15 minutes of income during the time from the customer’s payment at the pay station to the time the customer actually drives out of the parking facility ⏳. That is called a grace period. With software, going to the pay station to pay for your parking transaction is history. With the help of license plate recognition, an operator knows the exact entry as well as exit time and can charge an exact to the minute amount for the time parked. That also means that grace periods are history ❌. More income per transaction, which in return can be used to invest into software!
