We are very pleased to announce that two new investors have joined our investor base with a combined investment worth approximately £70 million* and that our valuation has nearly doubled to £550 million, only two years after our Series D. We welcome Apis Global Growth Fund III SCSp, the lead investor in the transaction, managed by Apis Partners - a prominent investor in high-growth, impactful global financial services and technology businesses. Amundi - Europe’s leading asset manager - also joins who will be represented by our existing investor Breega (in which Amundi is an investor). Together, both investors will play an important role in accelerating the next phase of development and growth for Moneybox. The transaction will mainly be facilitated through a secondary share sale, with existing investors selling 10-15% of the current share capital. However, it won’t just be institutional investors who have the ability to sell. We’ve enabled the rest of our shareholder community, including eligible employees, Crowd investors and customer (Reward Shares) shareholders - around 35,000 people - the opportunity to participate and sell 10% of their shareholdings. We’re delighted to be able to facilitate this and recognise the hard work of our team and our investors, many of whom have supported us since inception, to realise some of the value of their investment and benefit from the company’s strong growth trajectory. This transaction highlights Moneybox's strong market position, having achieved our first full year of profitability over a year ago and recently surpassing £10 billion in AUA. In the last fiscal year alone, we’ve successfully scaled revenues by 168% and AUA per customer by 46%. We are excited about the incredible opportunity ahead and will continue our focus helping millions of people build wealth so they can live the life that they want. - Moneybox Co-founders, Ben Stanway & Charlie Mortimer *Subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Turn your money into something greater with Moneybox.
About us
At Moneybox, we help you turn your money into something greater. Millions of us want to achieve more with our money. But whether we’re looking to save for a rainy day, grow our money, buy a home, or even build a retirement fund, we leave it at the bottom of our to-do lists because we're not sure how to get started. This isn’t surprising. We aren’t taught about financial planning at school, the wealth industry was built to serve a minority, and it often feels like banks don’t care about helping us achieve outcomes. To top it off, the financial services industry is fragmented and confusing. This means that our money often isn’t working hard enough and our goals are much harder to achieve. So, we made a solution. We've brought saving, investing, home-buying, and retirement services together into one simple app. So people can reach their goals and build wealth with confidence, whatever their starting point. We want to help people build wealth, but our mission goes beyond that. We believe that building wealth isn’t simply about accumulating more money. It’s about going after the life you want and enjoying it to the fullest, today and tomorrow. This is what it means to turn your money into something greater.

“It’s about the principle - not the product. If young people want to own their home, the government must ensure that is possible.” Last week we hosted a roundtable event that brought together policymakers, representatives from industry bodies, personal finance experts, and Moneybox Lifetime ISA savers to discuss what the government can do to help first-time buyers - including future-proofing the Lifetime ISA. At Moneybox, we’re proud to support the largest community of aspiring first-time buyers in the UK and we’re committed to giving them a voice, to ensure that their needs and lived experiences are understood by those who are responsible for shaping policy and product design. It was great to bring policymakers, industry colleagues, and Moneybox Lifetime ISA savers together in order to build on the positive momentum generated by the Treasury Select Committee’s review of the Lifetime ISA. We believe that with continued awareness, accessibility and future-proofing, the LISA has the potential to transform the financial prospects of young people for generations to come. Thank you to all of our guests for attending and contributing your expertise: Chris Rumsey, Funmi Olufunwa - Finance Expert, Molly Broome, Mosa Zahed, Nye Jones, Rotimi Merriman-Johnson DipFA, Brian Byrnes, Karen Kerrigan. Special thanks to Katie and Rebecca who represented the Moneybox first-time buyer community. And thank you to James Frith MP for chairing the discussion and ensuring everyone had a chance to share their thoughts on this important topic.

Here’s how we celebrated International Women's Day at Moneybox this year: 🗣️ We started by welcoming Bonita Matthee, a leading expert in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, for a Lunch & Learn called "Make Space – Take Space." Bonita's insightful session highlighted the crucial role of inclusive communication in creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered. Here are some of our key takeaways: - Encouraging diverse viewpoints leads to more innovative solutions and better decision-making - Feeling safe to speak up, ask questions, and share ideas without fear of judgment is crucial for engagement and belonging - Active listening fosters deeper connections and collaboration - Embracing pauses in conversations allows for reflection and encourages contributions from those who may need more time to process their thoughts At Moneybox, we're committed to fostering a workplace where every voice is heard and valued. We're grateful to Bonita for sharing her expertise and inspiring us to continue building a more inclusive Moneybox. 💐 The following day, our Culture Committee organised a bouquet-making workshop. It was a great way to bring the Moneybox team together and get inspired ahead of International Women’s Day! #IWD2025 #DiversityAndInclusion #InternationalWomensDay

The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is “Accelerate Action” and our data reveals that younger women are taking action to build wealth and make the most of their money long term. We found that 81% of women aged 18-34 felt more confident investing and 45% tackled a ‘financial first’ in 2024, motivated by a desire to feel more financially secure. While cost of living remains a bigger problem for women, with the gender pay gap leaving them more exposed to financial setbacks, young women are feeling optimistic about what 2025 will mean for their money. Did any of these data points surprise you? Let us know in the comments. 👇 All investing should be long term (min. 5 years). The value of your investments can go up and down, and you may get back less than you invest. Before investing consider an emergency savings buffer. Fees apply. ISA & tax rules apply. Survey of 2,000 UK adults carried out by OnePoll on behalf of Moneybox, December 2024. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD25 #AccelerateAction #WomenAndInvesting
