PRESS RELEASE: We are so happy to announce that we have opened a subsidiary, Altaeros UK Ltd! Altaeros UK produces advanced, state-of-the-art inflatable structures and vehicles for rugged applications where performance is key. Inflatable products include aerostats, hangars, shelters, and custom inflatables. Altaeros UK is headquartered in Wrexham, Wales with a production facility located in the Wrexham Industrial Estate. Altaeros UK will be responsible for all of our fabric manufacturing needed to create our aerostats, including the hull, fins, and ballonet systems. T-REX 25-1 has come to an end, and looking back, we are so proud of our performance and all of the partners that we integrated onboard ST-Flex. We carried a variety of c-UAS and supporting technologies from our partners: Silvus Technologies, Black River Systems Company, D-Fend Solutions, Aerostar (Aerostar International LLC), Pacific Defense, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Each of these technologies excelled in the demonstrations onboard ST-Flex, and showcased the powerful advantage of elevating c-UAS technologies to 1000ft AGL. Integrating with multiple partners allowed us to really put the ST-Flex modular payload bay and quick connect rail system to the test with several rapid equipment swaps. We would like to take a minute to thank the OUSD (R&E) team for putting on such a great exercise that allowed technologies to be demonstrated in an operationally relevant environment. We are back on-site at Camp Atterbury in Indiana for #cUASLOE at #T_REX25! INTRODUCING: ST-400 Autonomous Aerostat. The new ST-400 is designed to carry over 900 lbs/408kg of mission-critical payloads at a height of over 2,500 feet AGL. Building on the success of ST-Flex, ST-400 larger aerostat system will enable Altaeros to meet the increase in demand for multi-mission payload capabilities such as cUAS, radar, and EO/IR sensors onboard an autonomous aerostat system. The new ST-400 will join Altaeros’ fleet of autonomous aerostats enabled with Aerostat Autopilot™, allowing for autonomous flight operations with no on-site crew is required for launch, recovery, or day-to-day flight management.
