β Mission: Join us as a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development of Regate by Qonto, the platform which speeds up pre-accounting for thousands of SMEs and their accountants in France and Spain.
β‘ Impact: As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be part of a team of 50 engineers from all over the world. You will work hand-in-hand with Product and QA inside a cross-stack Squad and will contribute to the evolution of the Regate product, in an environment guided by short time-to-value and high attention to detail.
π©βπ»π§βπ» As a Senior Backend Engineer in our Regate team, you will:
-Work on the Regate product, developing new features, improving existing ones, and fixing bugs.
-Develop and maintain high-quality code in Ruby on Rails, continuously improving the state of our codebase to increase future velocity and reliability.
-Collaborate with Product and QA teams to ensure seamless, high-quality deliverables.
-Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
-Drive initiatives to optimize software and tooling for performance and scalability.
The Regate app is built with Ruby on Rails and React. Our platform runs on a Kubernetes cluster hosted on AWS, with PostgreSQL as our database of choice.

About You:
-You have a strong background in software development, with specific expertise in Ruby on Rails.
-Fluent in English, both technically and conversationally.
-Proven track record of mentoring junior team members and leading projects.
-Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
-You are driven by challenges and are proactive in finding solutions.
