What you'll do
As a Engineering Manager, you will lead one of our core technological areas, while driving team performance, aligning technical objectives with business goals, and fostering a culture of high performance. This is a hybrid role combining technical expertise, product development, people management, and strategic planning.

Responsibilites

    • Build and lead a high-performing team of 8-10 engineers in fast-moving environments.
    • Foster a culture of teamwork, feedback and continuous improvement.
    • Deeply immerse yourself in understanding the TRACTIAN product to effectively align engineering efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
    • Manage individual contributors, enabling them to be high performers and support others.
    • Align cross-functional stakeholders around team’s vision, goals, and metrics.
    • Conduct effective 1:1s, team meetings and rituals to drive the main goals.
    • Identify and implement improvements to enhance team efficiency, organization and overall productivity.

Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience leading Engineering teams with a background as a software engineer or software architect.
    • Great product taste and a track record of taking complex problems and solving them elegantly.
    • Experience being accountable for people management, having exposure to performance assessment, hiring, supporting career growth, etc.
    • Experience leading agile teams, being familiar with the most relevant ceremonies, metrics and processes.
    • A good level of technical understanding, being able to take part in architecture discussions with Engineers and to translate complex, technical projects and concepts for non-engineers.
