We are seeking a Program Manager III to join the Rackspace Sales Academy (RSA) responsible for driving the execution of global Technical Sales Training and Enablement programs. As a master collaborator you will coordinate with key stakeholders across Rackspace, define strategy, collect requirements and deliver continuous learning to technical sales Rackers.

Key Responsibilities

Works closely with regional Americas, APJ and EMEA Solution Engineering/Architecture and Sales Enablement teams to get high-quality training modules built, tested, and deployed on time.
Identifies and manages risks, making sound judgments about quality, and stopping (or speeding up) content launch at the right time.
Gathers requirements and defines the scope of each project.
Finds resources, manages resource allocation for projects.
Develops a plan and schedule, with well-defined milestones.
Works with Rackspace Sales Academy Program Managers to develop and track release milestones and schedules.
Manages communication of progress/status within the core team and external to the team (customers, partners, etc.); escalate issues, as necessary.
Works closely with software engineers and product managers to get high-quality products built, tested, and released on time.

Finds resources, manages resource allocation for projects.
Develops a plan and schedule, with well-defined milestones.
Works with Software TPMs to develop and track release milestones and schedules.
Manages communication of progress/status within the core team and external to the team (customers, partners, etc); escalate issues, as necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required OR equivalent work experience + high school diploma required.
Master’s or PhD preferred.
5+ years as a Program Manager required.
5-8 years of total experience related to role required.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience managing multiple international projects and people acting as a technical lead.
Proven ability to work on assignments that require data evaluation, recommendation development, and decision making.
A strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail while working in a very fast-paced environment.
