Piton Labs is hiring a dedicated, responsible Business Development Representative to help drive the company’s next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates located between UTC-8 (US West Coast) and UTC-3, though we may consider other time zones case by case.

**Responsibilities and Expectations**
You will oversee the full sales process, from lead generation to closing, with support from the founding team. Although the role doesn’t require deep technical knowledge, a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate our value to potential customers.

Your main responsibilities include:
– Prospecting and reaching out to potential customers
– Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
– Developing and executing sales strategies for our primary markets (startups and innovation teams within larger companies)
– Working with the engineering team to gather and communicate customer needs and insights
– Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up
– Delivering presentations and demos that show how our solutions address customer needs

**About the Candidate**
You are highly motivated, with a strong background in business development. You excel at building and maintaining relationships and bring:

– **Relationship building:** You create partnerships and turn outreach into customers
– **Strategic thinking:** You understand market trends and can position our technology clearly
– **Technical awareness:** You’re not a software engineer, but you understand the digital landscape well enough to explain our value effectively

**Basic Requirements**
– Native or near-native English proficiency
– At least four (4) years of business development experience, preferably at a tech company
– Proven ability to generate new business

**Remote Work Policy**
– Fully remote (no office required)
– Preference for candidates legally authorized to work in the United States
– Next preference: candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap four to six hours with U.S. Eastern Time on most workdays
– Ideal for digital nomads—no fixed location required
