Upright Labs is hiring a rockstar Sales Manager to grow our client base for our consulting services and software. In your role, you will be tasked with outreach, proposal writing, and resource creation. A typical week in this role will be 4 days per week sourcing, reaching out, and engaging with potential customers and 1 day per week working on marketing efforts to keep your sales funnel healthy. This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the United States.
What you’ll do
Sales/Lead Generation (80%)
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics
  • Lead outreach to warm and cold sales leads by phone and email
  • Develop a deep understanding of our ideal customers and how they relate to our products and services
  • Identify and build out email automation flows to keep warm leads engaged with Upright Labs
  • Craft proposals for prospective clients and close five and six figure deal contracts
  • Re-engage past and existing clients to offer new services
  • Track and meet sales goals and report results on weekly basis
Marketing (20%)
  • Craft blogs and resources to share with clients to keep them engaged
  • Craft and send out a monthly newsletter to existing and prospective clients and use engagement data to make improvements and follow up with clients
  • Engage in other marketing initiatives as needed
Who you are
  • 5+ years experience in sales, business development, account management, or similar role
  • Experienced in cold outreach and sales management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
  • Passionate about solving problems and educating potential customers
  • Process oriented – you solve the problem for today and tomorrow
  • Ability to grow and lead a sales team in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of your time for events, conferences, and in person sales meetings
  • Experience with e-commerce and/or the secondhand retail space is considered a plus
