While the overwhelming majority of employers are genuine, fraudulent job advertisements and recruitment scams continue to be a growing problem across the internet. ScamFILTER provides an additional layer of information that may help identify potential warning signs before you invest your time or share your personal information.

How does it work?

Using ScamFILTER is simple:

– Copy the URL of a job advertisement.

– Paste it into the ScamFILTER page.

– Click Analyze.

The system analyzes the job advertisement, reviews available information about the employer where possible, and produces a Job Legitimacy Score together with the key factors that influenced the assessment.

Every completed analysis is automatically saved under Previous checks, allowing you to revisit earlier assessments with a single click.

What should you expect?

No automated system can determine with certainty whether a job is genuine or fraudulent.

Instead, ScamFILTER is designed to help you make a better-informed decision. It highlights potential warning signs, explains the factors that influenced the assessment and provides additional context that may otherwise be easy to overlook.

As always, we recommend exercising common sense, independently verifying employers where appropriate and never sending money or sensitive personal information unless you are confident that an employer is legitimate.
