Piton Labs is currently hiring a Full-Time Senior Software Engineer (M/F). We’re looking for someone who can do full-stack development, with a strong focus on backend work. You must have solid experience with cloud infrastructure. Startup experience is a plus, whether from personal projects or an early-stage company. We strongly prefer candidates located in the GMT‑8 (West Coast of the United States) to GMT‑3 time zones, but if there’s a strong fit, we may consider applications from other regions.

### Responsibilities and technical scope
At Piton Labs, you’ll work with startups and large enterprises to solve their toughest technical problems. You’ll need to handle the uncertainty and complexity that come with software development—helping clients build products and decide what should actually be built. This isn’t just about running a checklist: you’ll also help set priorities and focus your efforts on what matters most to our clients.

We don’t require a specific tech stack, but most projects use TypeScript, React, and Go. Cloud infrastructure is typically on AWS, although some clients use other providers. You should have at least five years of experience with common application web development stacks, relational databases, and modern frontend frameworks. Familiarity with our preferred tools is a plus, but not required. You must be able to continuously deliver reliable, well-tested code.

A typical week may include:
– Designing advanced user interfaces for web or mobile applications
– Designing and building serverless API layers for new products
– Creating and deploying cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code tools
– Presenting new features to client-side stakeholders

### Ideal candidate profile
You are self-driven, motivated, and passionate about building software. You enjoy solving problems and continuously improving your technical skills. You should have:
– **Pragmatic mindset:** focus on problem-solving and creating value; be creative when needed
– **Strong ownership:** take responsibility for outcomes and understand both technical and human needs
– **Strong experience:** 5+ years across multiple projects, with steady growth
– **Adaptability:** evolve with technology rather than limiting yourself to a single specialty

### Remote work policy
– Fully remote team—no physical office
– Priority for candidates based in the United States with legal authorization to work in the United States
– Second preference for candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Daily overlap of 4–6 hours with U.S. Eastern Time
– Digital nomads are welcome; location is flexible

### Why join us
– **Competitive compensation:** $140,000 for candidates local to the U.S.
– **Profit-based quarterly bonus:** typically $2,500–$5,000
– **Four weeks of paid time off annually**
– **100% remote work**
– **Great work-life balance:** support fast-moving startup efforts without sacrificing weekends
– **Flexible culture:** fewer meetings and less synchronous work—high trust in your execution
