The main requirement for this Linguist position on the linguistics team is strong proficiency in Romanian, allowing you to effectively manage, develop, and enhance linguistic resources. You will be responsible for nurturing this language and expanding it across a wide range of customer‑facing products. Your work will involve creating and maintaining these language resources according to Lightcast standards and contributing to the development of new features.

We are looking for a dynamic, multilingual individual who can quickly understand the role and become an active member of a multicultural team.

Major Responsibilities:
• Analyze and improve the data quality of multilingual text classifiers
• Translate various taxonomies, including Skills, Titles, and Occupations
• Annotate data used for training and validating models

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, NLP, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of linguistics
• Understanding of syntax and structural language analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, data cleaning, and functions)
• Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel
• Knowledge of RegEx is a plus
